RUINED::Teaching

It seems to be part of the human condition that we tend to learn things “the hard way.” And all too often we don’t learn the lesson that we need to until it’s too late. One of the beautiful things about being a follower of Jesus is that it’s never too late. Even when you feel like every thing has been ruined, God can still intervene & turn things around in unexpected ways. It’s in the times when things seem to be ruined that we realize that we must let go of the power we have, which is really no power at all, so God can take control.

In a stand alone week, we’re talking about two things. One, the truth that each of us has been called by God for a specific purpose, & two, that no matter the mistakes you may have made in the past God can & will redeem you so you can do what he has called you to. It’s never too late to turn around & make the decision to let God have control over your life & it’s a decision you’ll never regret.
